How do I book a tee time?
Tap a course, then tap "Book a tee time." NearGolf opens the course's own reservation system (foreUP, Chronogolf, TeeItUp, the course's website, etc.) so you book directly with the course. We don't take a cut and you pay the price the course actually posts.
A course's info is wrong (closed, private, wrong holes/par).
Please tell us. Use the "Report or rate this course" sheet inside the app, or email [email protected] with the course name and what's incorrect. Course data refreshes nightly from OpenStreetMap and Google, and corrections to those sources propagate automatically.
What is the match score?
It's a 0–10 rating of how well a course fits your game — based on USGA slope vs. your handicap, walkability, hole length, price tier, drive time, and real reviews. Tap any score to see exactly why it earned it. No black box.
Do I need an account?
No. NearGolf works with no account and no login. We don't collect a profile, and you can browse anonymously.
How do I delete my data?
Open the app and go to Settings → Privacy → "Reset all local data." This wipes everything the app stores on your device (saved courses, logged rounds, your handicap, and the anonymous analytics identifier). NearGolf doesn't keep a server-side profile tied to you, so there's nothing else to delete. If you'd like written confirmation, email [email protected] and we'll respond within 2 business days.
