NearGolf score rates overall quality (0–10). USGA rating & slope measure difficulty — how hard the course plays, not how good it is.
What golfers say
People like the friendly staff and how welcoming they are, especially with families. The Donald Ross designed West course is still fun to play, though the greens are new and firm, and the overall condition isn't always top-notch. Slow play can be a real issue here, and some golfers find it hard to locate the course.

How we score
The NearGolf quality score (0–10) is a weighted blend of reviews, difficulty, price and course pedigree — the same score shown in the app. We label courses we do not have enough signal on as "Not yet rated" rather than guessing.
