NearGolf score rates overall quality (0–10). USGA rating & slope measure difficulty — how hard the course plays, not how good it is.
What golfers say
The Creek has a fun layout with greens that are in really good shape, and the staff is friendly. However, the fairways are consistently described as being in rough condition, and the cart paths are pretty beat up.

How we score
The NearGolf quality score (0–10) is a weighted blend of reviews, difficulty, price and course pedigree — the same score shown in the app. We label courses we do not have enough signal on as "Not yet rated" rather than guessing.
What the score reflects here: Great greens but very poor, hard fairways.
Honest data on 11,977 U.S. courses across 51 states — booking info verified, quality scored only where we have real signal.
