What golfers say
Smethport Country Club is a nice 9-hole course that's generally in good shape, with well-maintained fairways and greens, especially considering recent rain. However, some golfers have run into issues with mowing operations creating piles of grass clippings on fairways, and there's no food service available.

How we score
The NearGolf quality score (0–10) is a weighted blend of reviews, difficulty, price and course pedigree — the same score shown in the app. We label courses we do not have enough signal on as "Not yet rated" rather than guessing.
