What golfers say
Hempstead Golf and Country Club sounds like a pleasant surprise with its beautiful and moderately challenging layout, plus the staff are really friendly. Some folks also rave about the excellent food and service, especially a server named Mike. Just be aware, a couple of people mentioned the sidewalks could use a good cleaning and it gets pretty dark getting around after your round.
