What golfers say
Braemar's a decent value with a friendly owner and good food, and the greens can be pretty nice. However, a lot of golfers say the course condition, especially the greens and fairways, can be pretty rough and neglected, particularly when it's dry.

How we score
The NearGolf quality score (0–10) is a weighted blend of reviews, difficulty, price and course pedigree — the same score shown in the app. We label courses we do not have enough signal on as "Not yet rated" rather than guessing.
What the score reflects here: Neglected, bare fairways, and very poor greens.
Honest data on 11,977 U.S. courses across 51 states — booking info verified, quality scored only where we have real signal.
