NearGolf score rates overall quality (0–10). USGA rating & slope measure difficulty — how hard the course plays, not how good it is.
What golfers say
Beech Creek has a good, challenging layout with some fun risk/reward holes. Unfortunately, half the greens on the front nine were in rough shape, like hardened mud, which made them tough to putt on.

How we score
The NearGolf quality score (0–10) is a weighted blend of reviews, difficulty, price and course pedigree — the same score shown in the app. We label courses we do not have enough signal on as "Not yet rated" rather than guessing.
