What golfers say
Avon Fields is a pretty, challenging course with nice views and good greens, and the staff in the pro shop are usually helpful. However, some golfers find the fairways and tee boxes in rough shape, and the starter can be pretty rude. They also sometimes run out of carts.

How we score
The NearGolf quality score (0–10) is a weighted blend of reviews, difficulty, price and course pedigree — the same score shown in the app. We label courses we do not have enough signal on as "Not yet rated" rather than guessing.
